In 2025, we created a new Community Interest Company (CIC), Ability Pathways, to strengthen our long‑standing commitment to delivering social value and improving lives across the UK. As a CIC, the organisation exists exclusively for community benefit. Any profits generated are reinvested directly into enhancing and expanding services that make a meaningful difference to people’s lives, ensuring long‑term sustainability and a clear focus on social impact.
Ability Pathways CIC offers services that help people overcome barriers related to employment, health, skills, housing, crime and wellbeing, to create pathways to brighter futures. We aim to help people find independence, confidence and new opportunities, while helping create safer, healthier and more resilient communities.
It is committed to supporting residents of all ages who face hardship — including economically disadvantaged people, those who are unemployed or economically inactive, young people, individuals needing physical or mental health support, people impacted by crime or the criminal justice system, homeless people, refugees and asylum seekers, and anyone else experiencing significant challenges in their lives.
We are proud to welcome Change100 as the first programme delivered by our new CIC – an award‑winning internship initiative that helps talented students and graduates with disabilities access career‑defining opportunities. By giving Change 100 a dedicated not‑for‑profit home, we can protect and grow the programme’s legacy while expanding its reach and impact.
This CIC seamlessly aligns with our purpose, values and culture, and marks an exciting step forward in expanding opportunities and broadening our social impact.
