The Jobs Guarantee is part of the Department for Work and Pensions’ Youth Job Guarantee which aims to support nearly one million young people in the UK who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) by providing tailored support, training opportunities and subsidised jobs.
The Jobs Guarantee is central to this, providing guaranteed jobs for long-term unemployed young people, helping them take the crucial first step into sustained employment.
It launched in Spring 2026 providing jobs to more than 1,000 young people and will be followed by national roll-out later in the year.
