Ingeus delivers Connect to Work in South London

5 Dec. 2025

Ingeus are pleased to launch Connect to Work on behalf of the South London Partnership (SLP) in Croydon, Kingston, Merton, and Sutton, continuing our long track of empowering communities and tackling economic inactivity across the Boroughs.

Connect to Work starts on 24th November for five years, with a potential two-year extension. It is a voluntary programme funded by the UK Government to support disabled people or people with health conditions, and individuals with complex barriers, to move into and maintain employment. It will also provide support to people in work but at risk of losing their employment, helping them to retain their jobs.

Connect to Work is a Supported Employment ‘place, train and maintain’ programme for people aged 18 and over who are facing barriers to work due to a health condition, disability, or disadvantage. The programme brings together vocational profiling, employer engagement, job finding, and on and off the job support for participants. Employers will also be supported to take on participants. There will also be tailored self-employment support where appropriate.

Julie Graham, CEO of Employment Services, said:

"We’re thrilled to be delivering Connect to Work in South London. This programme is about breaking down barriers and creating real opportunities for people who face challenges in finding or keeping employment. By combining personalised support with strong employer partnerships, we aim to help people not only secure jobs but thrive in them. It’s a proven approach that changes lives – and we’re proud to be part of that journey with South London Partnership, continuing our long track record of supporting residents in South London communities."

Connect to Work will be delivered in Richmond by Richmond Workmatch.
