Ingeus recognised by Liverpool City Region Fair Employment Charter

Ingeus is proud to have achieved accreditation through the Liverpool City Region Fair Employment Charter, recognising our commitment to creating a workplace where colleagues can feel supported, included and empowered to succeed.

Established by the Mayor of the Liverpool City Region, the Charter celebrates employers that demonstrate strong employment practices across four key areas: Healthy, Fair, Inclusive and Just.

For Ingeus, the accreditation reflects both our long-standing presence in the region and our ongoing commitment to creating positive employment experiences for the 45 colleagues who work across our Liverpool City Region operations, while continuing to deliver market-leading services for residents and employers.

To achieve accreditation, organisations are assessed against a range of employment practices including employee wellbeing, flexible working, fair pay, inclusion, learning and development, employee voice and opportunities for young people.

The assessment recognised Ingeus' approach to supporting colleague wellbeing through a range of initiatives including flexible and hybrid working arrangements, wellbeing resources, employee support services, workplace adjustments, wellbeing champions, management training and a year-round programme of wellbeing activity.

The Charter also recognised our commitment to fair employment practices. As a Real Living Wage Employer, Ingeus is committed to fair pay and secure employment, with robust governance processes that promote stability, transparency and consistency across the organisation.

Creating an inclusive workplace was another key area of assessment. Ingeus continues to invest in equality, diversity and inclusion through workforce monitoring, inclusive recruitment practices, Disability Confident accreditation, colleague networks and employee resource groups that help colleagues connect, share experiences and influence positive change across the organisation.

The assessment also considered how Ingeus supports learning, development and progression. Through structured performance development processes, ongoing training, apprenticeships, leadership development and professional learning opportunities, colleagues are encouraged to build their skills and develop rewarding careers.

Finally, the Charter recognises our commitment to employee voice and developing opportunities for future generations. Alongside creating environments where colleagues can be heard and represented, Ingeus supports young people through a range of programmes and initiatives, including Youth Voice and employability services designed to help young people build skills, confidence and pathways into work.

This accreditation joins a number of external standards, frameworks and commitments that help shape our approach to being a responsible, inclusive and people-focused employer.
