Ingeus has started delivering Working Well: Individual Placement and Support in Primary Care (WW:IPSPC) in Stockport, aimed at helping more residents across Greater Manchester into sustainable employment.

WW:IPSPC is designed to supported people living with disabilities and long-term physical or mental health conditions, to find or stay in work. By offering tailored, one-to-one support from dedicated Employment Specialists, the programme helps people to overcome barriers to employment and promotes a more inclusive workforce across the region.

Delivered in partnership with The Growth Company and Groundwork, commissioned by Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), WW:IPSPC will run until 31st March 2027.

Adele Holloway, Operations Director for Ingeus said: “Ingeus is proud to be part of this transformative programme to support more people into employment across Stockport. WW:IPSPC is a vital step into making that a reality for many in Greater Manchester. We are committed to helping people navigate the challenges they face and help them achieve their employment goals.”

The Growth Company’s Head of Individual Placement and Support, Rochelle Seddon, said:
“We're pleased to be working with Ingeus in Stockport to build on the successes of the first chapter of Working Well: Individual Placement and Support in Primary Care.

This collaboration marks an exciting new chapter, and we’re committed to expanding access to high-quality, IPS-based employment support—helping even more people across Greater Manchester move closer to meaningful, sustainable work.”

The programme is part of a suite of Working Well programmes, which have already made a significant impact across the region by integrating health and employment services to improve lives and communities.
