The Money Management team from Greater Manchester JETS (Job Entry Targeted Support), a Greater Manchester Combined Authority programme, has collaborated with Citizens Advice Regional Energy Leads and Consumer Energy Champions working in partnership with Solutions to Tackle Energy Poverty (STEP), a programme funded by the European Social Fund, to deliver a new workshop for frontline advisors, with the aim of helping more people make energy savings.
Increasing energy awareness is an essential part of dealing with fuel poverty, and the new workshop shares best practice about Greater Manchester energy-related issues to ensure vulnerable and harder to reach groups have the know-how to help manage their energy costs.
With fuel poverty affecting people across the UK, the team have shared a recording of the workshop to enable Ingeus advisors from other programmes to benefit from the content and help more participants. Please note the content is specific to Greater Manchester, so don’t forget to check in with your local experts to ensure tailored advice for your area.
