Warm Hubs launched to help people find jobs and stay warm

As temperatures drop and the cost-of-living crisis continues to pinch, our Work and Health Programme and London-based Restart Scheme centres are inviting customers to drop into sites and use them as  ‘Warm Hubs’.

The Warm Hubs are open between now and March and are a safe space where customers can stay away from the cold and help themselves to hot drinks and biscuits, whilst taking a look at the latest jobs opportunities in their area. 

They will have access to free job-search facilities, as well as the ability to book onto training courses and make an appointment with their local Caseworker.

Knowing how hard Christmas can be for many of their customers, the staff at Central London Works even volunteered to open each of their three community hubs for a day during the festive break, armed with copious amounts of mince pies and festive tunes of course!

Some staff brought their children along so they could see the work we’re doing to support our communities first hand. 

The hubs have been a huge success so far, and it’s brilliant to see the real positive impact that we’re having on our communities.
