Beth Williams, National Youth Voice Ambassador, East Midlands
My name is Beth, I’m 17 and I have just finished Year 11 at Wilsthorpe School. I hope to attend Loughborough College to study Uniformed Protective Services. Outside of Ingeus I am a Cadet first aider with St John Ambulance which means I go to events with adult volunteers and help treat patients; my favourite event so far has been the Great North SwimRun. I am also a display team gymnast performing at various events within the UK with the hope of representing Great Britain internationally next year.
Why did you join Ingeus Youth Voice?
I joined Ingeus as a Youth Voice Ambassador because I believe that youth are presented in a negative way and their ideas are often overlooked because of it. My aim as an Ambassador is to break down the negative stigma and help to provide all youth with the opportunity to have their voices heard.
