Youth Voice
Ingeus is committed to being a progressive organisation, evolving to meet the needs of our customers.
The Youth Voice is a key part of this, it acts as a central advisory board, representing the views of younger participants and ensuring we continue to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow. We engage with the group regularly for input and feedback on all aspects of our services, including design, delivery, policy, processes, people, and places. We believe young people bring new and exciting ideas, provide valuable insight, hold us accountable and challenge our way of thinking. They play an integral part in ensuring our services are youth friendly as we work towards the future.
Youth Voice Ambassadors
Our Youth Voice Ambassadors are a dynamic team of young people aged 16-30, coming together from across the country to influence change. The Ambassador Programme is designed to give young people a platform to use their voice and to empower them to be better prepared for life and work. The team works together to provide Ingeus with a unique youth voice ensuring that we, as an organisation, are equipped to support young people with the right, high quality, flexible and responsive services. They are an essential part in ensuring our services are youth friendly for today and the future.

Youth Voice at Ingeus
Youth Voice is one of our central advisory programmes. It brings together young people to share their views, experiences and ideas - helping us to continually evolve our services to meet the needs of the people we support.
We believe young people bring new and valuable perspectives. They offer insight, challenge our thinking, and help hold us accountable. Their contribution plays an integral role in ensuring our services are accessible, relevant and designed with young people in mind.
Our groups
Our main Youth Voice brings together young people from a range of backgrounds and experiences. They work closely with Ingeus to provide feedback and insight across all aspects of our services.
Supporting our main group is our Justice Lived Experience group which brings together young people who have direct or indirect experience of the justice system. Their input supports the ongoing development of programmes that aim to help young people move away from the risk of offending and build more positive futures.
Finally, our Change 100 Alumni Ambassadors are a disability-led group made up of former Change 100 interns, a programme delivered by our Community Interest Company, Ability Pathways. Using their lived experience, they help shape and strengthen the Change 100 programme and support inclusive employment opportunities.
Our Youth Voice brings different perspectives and experiences and play a vital role in helping us:
- Design better services.
- Improve accessibility and inclusion.
- Respond to the changing needs of young people.
- Deliver better outcomes for the people we serve.
By listening to and working alongside young people, we can continue to build services that make a meaningful difference.
