Recognising inclusion at Ingeus

12 May 2023
Ingeus’ concerted efforts to being an inclusive employer have been recognised by the Better Society Awards, having been one of just two companies judged worthy of a shortlist place in the Inclusive Employer category. Despite being pipped at the post by Coca-Cola on the night, we were delighted to be recognised alongside such illustrious competition.

The awards were established by the Better Society Network to reward businesses which help create a more equal, ethical, and sustainable society.

Ingeus’s Employee Relations, Diversity and Wellbeing specialist Melisa Cunningham says:

“We were delighted to have been in the running, alongside Coca-Cola, as the Most Inclusive Employer. Many congratulations to them and all the other companies recognised. Collectively we are a force in making a positive difference to society.

“Our entry detailed Ingeus’ innovative and proactive stance on mental health and menopause, and the recruitment of team members with lived experience of the issues our programmes combat. We are passionate about our people, who come from all walks of life and reflect the diverse client base we serve.

“We will continue to build on our work to offer equal opportunities for all and help remove any barriers to people being their best selves at work.”

An unflinching commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion is ingrained in the culture at Ingeus and is at the heart of the company’s wellbeing strategy. The business has a raft of measures in place to ensure opportunities are accessible to everyone, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, religion, culture, or disability.
