Ingeus to work with Probation Service to rehabilitate offenders

We are pleased to announce that Ingeus has been awarded funding for Commissioned Rehabilitative Services to provide specialist accommodation, employment and training, and personal wellbeing support to reduce reoffending. The investment is part of the Government’s commitment to tackle the drivers and cost of offending and help prevent people become victims of crime.  
 
Expanding our current footprint with growth in new regions, Ingeus will be delivering support services to help address issues including mental health, family and relationships in the East Midlands, West Midlands, Yorkshire and the Humber, and North East; Education, Training and Employment services in the East Midlands, North East and South Central England; and Accommodation services in South Central England.
 
These new rehabilitation services complement Ingeus’ existing CFO3 and Activity Hub programmes which provide support in the community and custody, helping people access mainstream provision, build their skills and move into sustainable employment.  
 
Chief Executive of Ingeus Justice Services, Adam Hart, said: “Ingeus has delivered justice and rehabilitation services for more than 15 years and we are delighted to be continuing our partnership with the Probation Service and Prison Service as part of the new probation system.

We are very excited to be working with existing and new charity partners, including CGL, PACT, Leonard Cheshire and MIND, in providing vital support to help people to rehabilitate.
