Access 2 Advice

Access2Advice provide debt advice/support to help participants who are experiencing a transition in their life and who need to achieve financial stability to organise often chaotic lifestyles.

Participants gain a range of skills to help them maintain their own financial stability such as, keeping track of their money coming in and being spent, recognising priority bills, keeping a home and paying for its utilities and essentials and be able to demonstrate an understanding of independent living issues.

Changes

Changes Health & Wellbeing cater for a wide range of mental health needs, from prevention toimproving wellbeing, to assisting recovery and social inclusion. They deliver a range of Level 1 and Level 2 accredited courses to participants in a community and custody setting, utilising both group work and one-to-one delivery to promote recovery and rehabilitation.

Each course, and the support offered, is tailored to provide as much help and consistent encouragement to participants, not just to achieve the required standard to complete an accredited course, but also to help the participants feel empowered in attempting to make positive steps to improve their mental health and personal circumstances.

Genus

Genus' Building Positive Futures programme provided by Mentoring West Midlands is a semi-therapeutic programme delivered over 7-8 weeks supporting participants work towards strengthening personal and family relationships. It’s a Level 1 accredited course delivered on a one-to-one basis.

Genus support the families of individuals to address barriers to moving forward together by identifying the participant’s strengths and enabling individuals to understand how they have chosen to behave in the past to support them to recognise how they have control over the behavioural choices they make in the future.

Intuitive Thinking Skills

Intuitive Thinking Skills deliver practical and empowering, self-help education. Their work encompasses employment, addiction, mental health, anger management and domestic abuse for those in need, and for those who are often resistant to engage.

Their ethos and programmes are written from the countless life experiences of people who have overcome their own substance misuse and health and social problems. They teach participants how to acquire, transfer and apply practical skills to achieve enduring positive changes in their lives with the aim of becoming more independent of themselves.

Rift

 Rift deliver a Level 1 Business Start-Up Workbook and Level 1 Construction Workbook, designed to allow the participant to explore their self-employment ideas in-depth and gain knowledge the things they need to consider, such as equipment, to start up their business. The Business Start-Up Workbook includes information and tasks based on topics such as establishing a business idea, motivations for wanting to be self-employed equipment and vehicles required. It is delivered to participants in a community and custody setting, utilising both group work and one-to-one delivery.
