Helping young people build positive futures

Elevate is the Children and Young Person Navigator Service for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. 

Delivered by Ingeus and commissioned by the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Violence Reduction Network (VRN), Elevate provides personalised one-to-one support for young people aged 11 to 25. 

Through trusted relationships, practical guidance and a trauma-informed approach, the service helps young people stay safe, build confidence, develop skills and take positive steps towards their future. 

Why Elevate?

Sometimes a young person may benefit from extra support, encouragement or opportunities to help them move forward. 

Elevate helps young people: 

• Stay safe and reduce vulnerability to violence, exploitation and related harms 
• Build confidence and self-belief 
• Develop positive relationships 
• Strengthen social and life skills 
• Access education, training and employment opportunities 
• Discover activities and opportunities in their community 
• Connect with specialist support where appropriate 
• Set goals and plan for the future.

Working together

Elevate complements existing services and support networks. 

Navigators work alongside families, schools, community organisations, health partners and other professionals to provide joined-up support and help young people access the opportunities available within their communities. 

By combining Ingeus' expertise in youth and justice services with the specialist knowledge and community reach of local partners, Elevate provides a coordinated approach designed to help young people thrive. 

Who is Elevate for?

Young people who: 

• Are aged 11 to 25 
• Live in Leicester, Leicestershire or Rutland 
• May benefit from additional guidance, encouragement, support or opportunities
