Ingeus is proud to announce that its Work and Health Programme (WHP) in the North West has been awarded Accredited Status by the National Autistic Society, recognising our commitment to delivering inclusive, high-quality support for all our customers and stakeholders.
The Autism Accreditation Programme is the UK’s only autism-specific quality assurance framework, celebrating organisations that demonstrate excellence in autism practice. Achieving Accredited Status on our first attempt is a significant milestone, placing Ingeus among a select group of service providers who are setting the standard for autism support.
Led by Laura Roberts, Head of Delivery, the accreditation process involved a comprehensive self-audit and action plan, followed by a three-day assessment. Assessors conducted on-site observations, engaged with staff and participants, and gathered independent feedback through surveys to evaluate the quality and inclusivity of our services.
Laura said:
“I am delighted to have been a part of this accreditation. Completing the self-assessment and working with participants to gather their feedback has been incredibly insightful. It gave us the opportunity to reflect on our practices and ensure we are creating an environment that is truly inclusive and supportive. I look forward to continuing to build on this work to ensure we are always improving and meeting the needs of everyone who accesses our service.”
This achievement reflects Ingeus’ ongoing dedication to creating a workplace and delivering services where everyone can thrive. It reinforces our mission to deliver person-centred support that empowers individuals to overcome barriers and achieve their goals.
