All change for Ange

18 Aug 2025
In recent years, Transformation Manager, Ange, has undergone her own remarkable evolution. Seamlessly shifting from customer service to process design, change management to quality and assurance, her career leapt to a new level as she joined the Ingeus Health transformation team in April 2025.

Ange first joined Ingeus as a Continuous Improvement and Change Manager in late 2024, but true to form, she wasn’t content to stand still. Between getting married, learning to horse ride, and developing a taste for fine wine, she also dove into professional growth—volunteering to train in Lean Six Sigma through the Ingeus Continuous Improvement Academy. The result? A coveted Green Belt qualification.

The Green Belt qualification is the penultimate stage of Lean Six Sigma learning and involved studying process improvement and waste elimination methods to enhance business operations. It also involves analysing and improving a live business issue, in Ange’s case wasted admin time caused by misdirected claim forms.

Solving the issue by removing outdated processes and organising clear stakeholder communications has paid dividends for Ange. It’s also saved time and the frustrations of her colleagues in the Ingeus Health Assessment Advisory Service.

“Seeing your work make a tangible difference to other people is so satisfying,” says Ange, who undertakes her national role from her home in Durham.

“Personal development is really important to me, and I was keen to embrace new opportunities for learning when I joined Ingeus. I’ve had protected work time to complete the green belt project and have been really impressed with how approachable my new colleagues have been in support.

“It’s so good to work for a company that wants you to progress.

"Stepping into a new role presented real challenges but I chose to see it as an opportunity to grow. I now support the Transformation Director and business plan way into the future. Continual and active learning will help me keep pace with that.

“I’ve shown that I’m not intimidated by what’s unfamiliar. I thrive on new things and am fully prepared to take on what comes next. I’d love to do the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt next. That, and learn to play the piano!”
